Make Mental Health a Priority

Following on from World Mental Health Day on October 10th, workplace mental health continues to be high on the HR agenda at Cambridge Precision Ltd.  Caring for the wellbeing of employees is as important as every other aspect of Health and Safety and with all the additional pressures of the last few years, the team felt it important to equip staff with the knowledge and skills to support the whole team.

St John Ambulance run an extremely helpful 2 day course that qualifies delegates as Mental Health First Aiders. The FutureQuals Level 3 Award in Mental Health: Workplace First Aider qualification, seeks to equip delegates with the knowledge to identify those who require mental health support and the confidence to offer assistance when required.

CPL’s Chairman, Richard Hefford Hobbs, recently completed the course, joining Becky, Nick and Ron as qualified Mental Health First Aiders. Course details can be found here and anyone at CPL who would be interested in additional training in this or any other field, please express your interest to your Line Manager.
