Christmas kindness

At Cambridge Precision Ltd we became aware of a very local need, providing a little support and enjoyment for ‘young carers’.  Organisations close to home are helping young people to take a break from their caring responsibilities. Many school age children take on the roles of adults within their families, helping other family members after a bereavement, caring for parents or siblings with a disability … and then heading off to school.

We chose to support these young people and received a heart-warming thanks this week, which we are publishing not to gain applause but rather to encourage any other individuals or companies that may like to help young people very local to us, whose efforts and responsibilities can so easily be invisible, to do so.

‘We often ask companies like yourselves to help enrich our young carers’ lives and boy did Cambridge Precision come up trumps, with your support love and funding we were able to take some of our younger students on a magical trip on the Polar Express something they would never been able to do.
So as you celebrate Christmas with your families, please know you made another child’s Christmas a little more joyous and Special!!! Thank you so much again I can’t even begin to express how grateful we are.’

If you would like to know more and to help others enrich these young people’s lives please contact Tony Murray (t.murray@cambridgeprecision.com) and we will put you in touch with these lovely people who  can really make a difference.
