Expanding the team

We have a number of new staff joining the team at CPL, bringing additional skills and capacity.

In the past couple of months we’ve had two new inspectors join the team, James and now Gary, with experience and ideas on how we can improve efficiency within the department. It is great to have a breath of fresh air, new ideas and additional enthusiasm. Evie is also joining the team, and her eye for accuracy and exceptional organisational skills, will undoubtedly bring benefits.” explains David Pipe, Quality Control Engineer.

Gary Hakin joins CPL as Quality Inspector, alongside James Young, and brings with him a wealth of experience.  “The staff have been really welcoming and I felt like part of the team straight away, the atmosphere is more relaxed from my previous job but the professional standards are extremely high.”

Evie Rata has come on board as Production Quality Coordinator. Most recently she has been working for the NHS as a Pharmacy Technician, a role which required stringent quality and systems administration, skills which transfer neatly into this new role. Evie is in the fourth year of a Business Management degree, studying through the Open University, and working with CPL, she has more opportunity to put this learning into practice, defining new systems and processes to add value to the Quality Team’s current working practice.

The Stores Department is also enjoying expansion with the addition of Charlie Davies.   This summer Charlie finished her Biology B.Sc. at Hull University, graduating with an impressive first degree Honours.  Whilst this temporary role is a stepping-stone for Charlie, she is confident that the practical experience, high level of organisational and administrative skills required and general business learning, will serve her well in the future.

We welcome all to the team and wish them every success.
