Today we welcomed a BSI assessment team to the St Neots site, to review our continuing compliance to the ISO 45001 (Health and Safety) Standard.
We were pleased to have the hard work and proactive practice of our entire staff team, recognised. CPL successfully completed the audit, which effectively demonstrates a sustained and exemplary Occupational Health and Safety management system, compliant with the requirements of this exacting standard.
Our lead assessor commented that it was great to see a company with such a determined approach to the continued consideration of health and well-being issues, affecting staff and visitors alike. He noted how responsive “change” is always evident when he tours our site, demonstrating that we see Health and Safety measures as a constantly evolving need, not just an annual ticklist review. For example information posters and copious hand hygiene points, along with a revised visitor induction system, illustrated the company’s timely consideration of the current Coronavirus health risk.
He also commented that our staff were all friendly, open and honest when quizzed on well-being issues – which made his job so much more enjoyable. Come on team!
