The ISO 9001 standard accredits a company’s quality system. This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.
CPL is proud to have held this standard since 1997 and each year reviews the principles and practice that comprise our quality system.
Last week we hosted an external audit of our systems and processes, undertaken by BSI. This entailed our quality management system being reviewed, along with the review of the core processes of our business.
We were delighted to be told at the end of the week that our accreditation would be renewed and no non conformities highlighted. Whilst this is a great achievement, we will of course continue to look for improvements and opportunities for increased efficiency.. after all continuous improvement is the foundation of the standard.
